Understanding the Unknown
The Art of Divination – Qi Men Dun Jia
Incredibly rich and diverse, Eastern philosophy and spirituality offer you a different approach towards tackling everyday problems. While the majority of people will probably think only of yin and yang or feng shui (as they are the most popular ones), Chinese tradition brought us a legacy of various metaphysical arts and concepts, such as the art of doing nothing – wu wei, or the art of divination – Qi Men Dun Jia. The second one consists of finding the correlation between good and bad luck, and space and time. In layman’s terms – it’s the art of calculating the right timing for the optimal success mainly based on astronomical observations.
The history of Qi Men Dun Jia
This concept has been around for more than 5000 years and it can be summed as “The art of Ancient Chinese Leadership and management”, although some like to call it the “invisible power of life”. It is one of the Three Arts, side by side with Da Liu Ren and Tai Yi Shen Shu. In ancient times, it had military purposes, especially in means of identifying the perfect time and place to successfully attack the enemy. It originated from China, but throughout history – it spread across Southeast Asia. Today, it is widely practiced in both Singapore and Taiwan, and it is slowly penetrating the Western civilization. Western culture usually relies on abstract scholarship and philosophies that are unlikely to provide concrete solutions to real life problems while Eastern culture gives you an opportunity to explore different parts of its’ spirituality and apply it to your everyday life.
What does Qi Men Dun Jia do
We’ve all had those bad days when nothing seems to go right. When you fail at basic tasks several times in the morning, you don’t feel like continuing with your day and so you overlook the huge potential it might have for you. However, the Qi Men Dun Jia strategy is focused on providing you with information that is otherwise inaccessible to you – the exact “golden moment” in your day, a specified hour when you’re destined to succeed if you combine this perfect timing with deliberate action. This can be beneficial to business leaders and entrepreneurs, especially when it comes to signing important contracts or successful networking. But it can also be great for everyday decisions that can be equally significant, such as resolving relationship issues or buying a new house.
How does Qi Men Dun Jia work
This art of divination collects the knowledge and wisdom of numerology, astrology, other Chinese metaphysic concepts (e.g. feng shui), and I-Ching – which is an influential and recognized ancient Chinese divination text, studied all across the globe. Qi Men Dun Jia uses a 3×3 cosmic board, forming nine different palaces. By using complex mathematical calculations and guided by astronomical observations, it can predict a perfect fragment of time that’s suitable for any kind of action. This implies a completely different concept of time than the one we’re used to in Western culture: one fraction of time has its’ own qualities and specifications and isn’t necessarily comparable to another one. Duration is insignificant in this framework.
Qi Men Dun Jia does not allow you to cheat destiny
While at the first glance it may seem as the Chinese found a way to avoid their fate with this technique, it is utterly wrong to think that’s possible. As a human being, you belong to the world where there is a free flow of energy (chi) and Qi Men Dun Jia does not affect the amount or characteristic of the present forces. Rather it helps you adapt and synchronize your actions for optimal results.
We’ve all heard that timing is everything, but maybe we haven’t thought deep enough on why this is so. Chinese tradition can become the most inspiring source of wisdom, so consider giving Qi Men Dun Jia a try. Many factors influence our actions and the majority of them could not be rationally comprehended.
