Your Inner Voice

How many of us listen to our inner voice? How many of us think we are listening to our inner voice but it’s really just monkey mind chatter? There is a difference you know. One is the seat to your soul and the other is the relentless “should” that has been accumulated over the years.
I know you’re thinking this is a repeat. Conscious Shift has Shifted this before, and yes, we have talked about the monkey mind before, but I don’t think we have discussed the importance of Listening to Your Inner Voice and how monkey mind can hijack it without us even knowing it.
I have been a little under the weather lately. We are having very unusual weather. One day cold, the next hot. One minute rain, the next dry pollen everywhere. Inconsistency in weather has never been a problem for me but this year is different. This year I have been feeling the effects and feeling them hard. I was laid out on the couch for a couple of days with sinus crud. Waking up with my eyes glued shut accompanied by a river of yuck flowing through my head and down my throat. And if that wasn’t enough my ears started aching and got congested causing me to freak out about not being able to hear when I was hearing fine. I was as my wife calls “pitiful”!
What does this have to do with Inner Voice you ask? I’m almost there.
It was in my epic moment of self-pity that a dear friend reminded me I need to tell my body what to do. That my Inner Voice was telling me how to release the pitiful state, but I had turned off the Tracey channel that was the direct link to Inner Voice.
She was right. I forgot that I am in charge. That my Inner Voice, not the monkey mind chatter, but my Inner Voice is always there if I choose to tap in. So I did. The next day I was feeling better. No crusted over eyes and the spring in my step was back. I was feeling better. I was listening to me and asking me to release and heal.
I asked my body to let go of what was blocking my healthy energy flow. I asked each cell to release and create a healthy version of itself. To create a state of balanced, happy homeostasis. I spent some quiet time with me meditating and listened to what my Inner Voice had to say. I then acknowledged and asked healing to begin and to be the status quo in my body.
I know this sounds crazy to many but how is this different than Neuro Linguistic Programming or Hypnosis? Or any other modality that helps you listen to you, your body, and your inner voice? We have the power to heal ourselves. We have the power to change the state of most things in our life. How do I know this? Because I have done it on several occasions. One thing I know for sure is this, we are more powerful than we have ever been led to believe and the most powerful thing we can do for ourselves is to shut off monkey mind and Listen to Our Inner Voice.
Welcome down the rabbit hole of Listening to Your Inner Voice.
