What is your definition of Success?  The best definition I have heard states that, “Success is a progressive realisation of a worthy ideal.”  Earl Nightingale.  Hearing those words, I understood that it was up to each and every one of us to come up with our own definition.  If we are working towards a predetermined goal and know where we are going, then we are sure to succeed.

For many, we have been shaped by our circumstances.  In other words, we are defined by our outward interactions and beliefs that have been instilled in our psyche through life.  We conform to the thoughts of others.  What if we were to say to ourselves that we don’t believe in circumstances for we make our own?  Perhaps this may cause a shift in our perspective.

If we decide on our own goals and work towards them, this gives us an inner guidance that steers right into the hands of synchronicity.  Because we are sure of our decisions, life will conspire to help, for that’s how it works.  The Universe operates on a thought system.  Whatever we think, it believes.  Another way to refer to this impactful statement is that “we become what we think about.”

Here are a few examples of success.  Success= A full time mother for that is what she DELIBERATELY decided to become. Success= A humanitarian who helps orphaned children without pay for that is what they DELIBERATELY decided to do.  Success= A salesman who surpasses the forecast, for achieving an abundance of money is what she DELIBERATELY decided to do.  No matter what the goal is, if the DELIBERATE intent is there, we create our own reality!

Now, think of what we could accomplish if we added passion and enthusiasm to the mix?  Adding emotion into the mix amplifies the manifestation, as emotion is thought in motion.  What if we decided to start having fun in the process?  We could start to capture the energy of others because passion fuels its surroundings.  Life would conspire and add more wonderful people and experiences into our lives!  Believe it for this is the truth.  We are our own director and navigator in life.  There is the law of alchemy that states we change our lives through our thoughts, just like lead can be alchemised into gold.  The only difference is the degree on the vibrational scale.

We become what we think about as we are the sum total of our thoughts.  We are 100% responsible for our own direction in life.  We are working towards a predetermined goal because we know where we are going.  If we do not know where we are going, we will not reach our destination.  If you visualize a ship with no captain, where do you think the ship will end up?  All over the place as nature will take charge and send it along with the rough seas.  If there is a captain aboard, he or she would surely set the course and take charge of the wheel.

Ask some important questions before making a goal.  The most important question to ask is, do I have enough belief and trust in myself to attain this goal?  Will I set aside enough time and energy to achieve it?  If you  answered yes to these questions, then you are well on your way.  If you answered no, then perhaps the goal is not realistic, or you are not willing to do the work.  Sometimes when we set a goal,  fear and doubt sets in, but it’s an opportunity for us to increase mental strength and will.  Taking ourselves out of our own comfort zones is where the power lies.

Setting ourselves up for success takes work, but it is also balanced with the openness to synchronicities.  Once we put our mind to something and achieve it, the Universe will set up the right people, places and things into our experience.  If we are aware of these synchronicities, then life and goals become filled with awesome opportunities.  We can achieve anything in life that we choose to do.  The Universe feels and is guided by our choices.  If we deliberately set a goal, take action by working toward it and intend to achieve it, the Universe will supply us with everything we need, and this is so.
